- 10 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 3½ tbsp honey
- 1 large egg
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1¼ tsp flaky sea salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup shelled salted pistachios
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter until golden brown and fragrant.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together browned butter, brown sugar, and honey until smooth.
- Add the egg and egg yolk; mix until fully combined.
- Fold in the flour and 1 teaspoon of flaky sea salt until just incorporated.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan, sprinkle chopped pistachios on top along with remaining sea salt.
- Bake for 23–25 minutes or until edges are golden and center is set.
- Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
