  • 2 lbs chicken tenderloins (sliced into 2-inch pieces)
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp liquid smoke
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a mason jar or food processor, combine all marinade ingredients and shake well.
  2. Place chicken pieces in a zip-top bag and pour in marinade. Seal the bag, removing excess air, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours).
  3. Preheat a cast iron grill pan over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  4. Grease the pan with olive oil using a basting brush or paper towel.
  5. Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook for about 4 minutes without moving them.
  6. Flip the nuggets and continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
