  • ⅓ cup ketchup

  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  2. Drain pineapple juice into a bowl and refrigerate rings.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter and sear chicken thighs skin-side down until golden brown (3-4 minutes).
  4. Transfer seared chicken to a slow cooker and mix reserved juice with brown sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic; pour over chicken.
  5. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours until tender.
