- 6–7 cups granulated sugar

Instructions
- Wash limes and slice thinly. Combine sliced limes with water in a large container; let sit overnight.
- Boil the lime mixture for 40 minutes until peels soften. Gradually stir in sugar until dissolved. Let sit for 6 hours or overnight.
