  • 3 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter (melted)
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • ¼ cup salted butter (melted) for topping
  • 2 tablespoons flaky sea salt for topping
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder for topping
  • ½ tablespoon dried parsley for topping

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix flaky sea salt, garlic powder, and dried parsley; set aside.
  2. Combine lukewarm water, sugar, and yeast in a stand mixer bowl; let sit until foamy (7-10 minutes).
  3. Add bread flour, all-purpose flour, kosher salt, and melted butter to the yeast mixture.
  4. Knead with a dough hook on low speed for about 7-8 minutes until smooth.
  5. Transfer dough to an oiled bowl; cover and let rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
  6. Punch down the dough and divide into 10 pieces; shape into long breadsticks.
  7. Place on parchment-lined baking sheet; cover and let rest for another 10-15 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  9. Brush each breadstick with melted butter; bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Brush with remaining melted butter and sprinkle with seasoning mix before serving.
