Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a medium skillet, heat a drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil over medium heat. Add thinly sliced shallots and sauté for about 4-5 minutes until caramelized.
  3. Add ground sausage to the skillet and cook for an additional 6-7 minutes until browned and fully cooked.
  4. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, lay out naan breads and spread an even layer of pumpkin puree over each.
  5. Sprinkle dried oregano generously across the top.
  6. Distribute Fontina cheese evenly, then layer sautéed sausage and caramelized shallots. Add dollops of ricotta on top.
  7. Drizzle olive oil over fresh sage leaves and scatter them on the pizzas.
  8. Bake for about 15 minutes, until golden edges and bubbling cheese indicate they're ready.
  9. Remove from oven and drizzle hot honey over the top before serving.
