Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat the milk, butter, and granulated sugar until melted and reaches 120-130°F.
  2. Combine flour, yeast, and salt in a bowl. Pour in the melted mixture and add mashed banana. Mix to form shaggy dough.
  3. Knead dough for 6-8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Let dough rise in a greased bowl covered with a towel for 1 to 1.5 hours until doubled.
  5. Roll out the dough into an 18x12 inch rectangle.
  6. Spread softened butter, followed by brown sugar, cinnamon, and sliced bananas on the dough.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and cut into 12 equal pieces.
  8. Let the rolls rise for an additional 45 minutes in a greased baking dish.
  9. Preheat oven to 350°F and pour warm heavy cream over the rolls.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Prepare the frosting by beating cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
