Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, then add in the egg noodles. Cook them for 2-3 minutes less than the package directions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In the same bowl, combine cooked egg noodles, drained canned tuna, vegetable soup, milk, and frozen peas. Add salt and pepper to taste, and half of the cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined.
  4. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter. Spoon the tuna mixture into the dish, spreading evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top, then layer with Panko breadcrumbs.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, until the top is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven, let cool for a few minutes, and garnish with chopped chives before serving.
