  • 2 cups Ripe Strawberries Fresh, hulled and sliced
  • 2 cups Ripe Blueberries Fresh
Cake Base
  • 1 package Angel Food Cake Gluten-free option available
Whipped Cream
  • 2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream Whipped to soft peaks
  • 1/2 cup Sugar Adjust to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the angel food cake into small, bite-sized cubes and set aside.
  2. In a chilled mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream and sugar until soft peaks form.
  3. Rinse and hull the strawberries, then slice them into quarters. Set aside with blueberries.
  4. In a trifle dish, layer the angel food cake cubes, whipped cream, sliced strawberries, and blueberries. Repeat layers.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  6. Garnish with whole strawberries and blueberries before serving.
