  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil Can omit for a lighter dish
For the Chicken
  • 2 pounds Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thighs Juicy and flavorful, can substitute with chicken breasts
For Optional Glaze
  • 1/2 cup Reserved Marinade Thicken for an alluring glaze

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a sizable bowl, combine all marinade ingredients and whisk until smooth.
  3. Place chicken thighs in a bag or dish, pour half of the marinade over, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  4. Take chicken out of the fridge 30 minutes before cooking; line a baking sheet with foil.
  5. Bake chicken for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown and juices run clear.
  6. In a saucepan, boil reserved marinade for about 10 minutes to thicken.
  7. Brush thickened marinade over the baked chicken.
  8. Broil chicken for an additional 2 to 3 minutes for charring.
  9. Allow to rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
