Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, black pepper, cheddar cheese, cream of chicken soup, and melted butter. Stir until well blended.
  3. Gently fold in the thawed hashbrowns until fully coated.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle crushed butter crackers over the top of the hashbrown mixture.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbling.
  7. Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving.
