  • 1 lb Ground Beef consider lean for healthier option
  • 1 cup Onions (finely chopped) use shallots for a sweeter taste
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs use gluten-free panko or crushed cornflakes for gluten-free
  • 1/2 cup Milk almond milk for dairy-free option
  • 1 large Egg a flax egg can work for vegan option
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce opt for gluten-free if necessary
  • 1 tsp Paprika smoked paprika for more flavor
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
For the Glaze
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup BBQ sauce for smoky twist

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, finely chopped onions, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently but thoroughly.
  3. Transfer the mixture onto a clean surface or into a greased loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
  4. Spread a layer of ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Place in the preheated oven and bake for 55-60 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
  7. Slice and serve warm with mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
