- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a skillet over medium heat, add a splash of olive oil. Add the chopped onion and crushed garlic, sautéing for about 5-7 minutes until the onions become translucent.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, fresh breadcrumbs, milk, beaten eggs, Worcestershire sauce, and the sautéed onion and garlic mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the meat mixture to a lightly greased baking dish and shape it into a loaf, smoothing the top and sides.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the tomato ketchup, light brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and English mustard until smooth.
