Method
 

Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Melt a tablespoon of butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add half of the diced onions and sauté for about 5 minutes until soft.
  3. Add remaining onions and finely chopped mushrooms to the pan. Season with salt and pepper, and cook for 8-10 minutes.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and thyme, cooking for an additional minute. Then add flour and cream cheese until fully melted.
  5. Fold in fresh arugula and allow the mixture to cool.
  6. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, sautéed onions, egg, Worcestershire sauce, oats, thyme, paprika, salt, and water. Mix gently.
  7. Press about two-thirds of the meat mixture into a greased loaf pan, create a hollow, and fill it with the mushroom mixture. Cover with remaining meat mixture.
  8. Bake for 50 minutes to an hour until it reaches an internal temperature of 70°C (160°F).
  9. Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
