Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the béchamel sauce by melting 4 tablespoons of butter in a medium saucepan, whisk in 1/4 cup of flour, then gradually add 4 cups of milk until thickened.
  3. Cook the filling by browning 1 pound of sausage in a skillet, then add 2 cups of spinach and 1 cup of mushrooms until wilted.
  4. Layer the lasagna by spreading béchamel in a baking dish, followed by noodles, filling, and cheese. Repeat until ingredients are used.
  5. Top with more béchamel and cheese, cover with foil, and bake for 30-40 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and let rest for 10-15 minutes before serving.
