Preparation
- Heat 1-2 inches of canola or peanut oil in a deep skillet over medium heat until it reaches 350°F.
- Slice the boneless chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
- Combine flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish. In a second dish, whisk together egg and milk.
- Dredge chicken in flour mixture, then dip in egg mixture, and return to flour for a second coating.
- Fry chicken pieces in hot oil for 3-4 minutes on each side until crispy and golden brown.
- Use a slotted spoon to remove chicken from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Toss the fried chicken bites with sweet chili sauce in a large bowl.
- Serve on a platter garnished with julienned carrots, chopped cilantro, and sesame seeds.
