Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Spray the inner pot of your slow cooker with olive oil.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Pour the marinara sauce over the chicken and sprinkle in garlic powder, onion granules, Italian seasoning, paprika, and red chili flakes. Add chicken broth.
  4. Cover and set the cooker to LOW for about 4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, remove and shred the chicken, then return to the slow cooker.
  6. Add cheese tortellini, shredded mozzarella, and heavy cream. Stir gently, cover, and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
  7. Stir in baby spinach and cook for another 10 minutes on LOW.
  8. Lastly, sprinkle in grated Parmesan cheese, stir to combine, and adjust seasoning if needed.
