- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9x13-inch baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over low to medium heat. Stir in semi-sweet chocolate until smooth.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined and frothy for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add melted chocolate mixture and sourdough discard to the egg mixture. Stir until smooth.
- Fold in flour, baking powder, salt, and chocolate chips until combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and level the surface with a spatula.
- Bake for 35 minutes. They are done when the top appears set and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
