Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by lining a baking tray with parchment paper, ensuring it's flat and smooth. This will create a non-stick surface for your chocolate bark.
- Place semi-sweet chocolate morsels in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each session until chocolate is melted and smooth, usually taking about 1.5 to 2 minutes.
- Pour the melted semi-sweet chocolate onto the prepared tray, gently spreading it into an even layer with a spatula. Let it set at room temperature, or refrigerate for about 10-15 minutes.
- In another bowl, add the white chocolate morsels and repeat the melting process. Pour the melted white chocolate over the hardened semi-sweet layer, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- Now, melt the red, white, and blue candy melts in separate bowls using the microwave method. Stir each after 30 seconds until smooth.
- Drizzle the melted candy melts over the set white chocolate layer in a fun, festive pattern.
- While the candy melts are still soft, sprinkle your bark with red, white, and blue star sprinkles and M&Ms.
- Allow the entire tray to harden completely at room temperature for a couple of hours or in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
- Once set, lift your chocolate bark from the tray using the edges of the parchment paper and cut into festive pieces.
