  2. Prepare the box white cake mix according to the package directions. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool completely.
  4. Once cooled, poke holes evenly across the surface of the cake.
  5. Pour ¾ cup of sweetened condensed milk over the surface of the cake and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for approximately 1 hour.
  7. In a large bowl, combine the strained ricotta, mascarpone, cinnamon, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  8. Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing until combined, then add remaining sweetened condensed milk.
  9. Spread the creamy frosting over the chilled cake.
  10. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top and dust with additional powdered sugar if desired.
  11. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least 2-3 hours before serving.
