Step-by-Step Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor or by using a rolling pin in a ziplock bag until fine crumbs are formed.
- In a bowl with the crushed Oreos, combine melted butter and mix until resembling wet sand. Press firmly into a 9x13 inch dish and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
- Beat softened cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add granulated sugar and 2 tablespoons of milk, mixing until smooth. Fold in 1 1/4 cups of Cool Whip, then spread over the chilled crust.
- Whisk together chocolate instant pudding mix and 3 1/4 cups cold milk for about 2 minutes until thickened. Pour over the cream cheese layer and spread evenly.
- Spread remaining Cool Whip over the pudding layer evenly. This step should take around 3-5 minutes.
- Sprinkle mini chocolate chips and then the red, white, and blue sprinkles on top for decoration.
- Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or freeze for 1 hour.
