Ingredients

For the Yogurt Mixture
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries consider substituting with blueberries or peaches for variation
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt regular yogurt can be used but may yield softer bites
  • 2 tablespoons honey try maple syrup or agave nectar for a vegan-friendly option
For Optional Toppings
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios feel free to mix it up with other nuts
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut can be sprinkled on top before freezing
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips dark chocolate chips work particularly well

Equipment

  • Food Processor
  • Mixing bowl
  • resealable plastic bag or piping bag
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by washing and hulling fresh strawberries, then place them in a food processor along with a drizzle of honey. Blend the mixture until it reaches a smooth consistency, about 1–2 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, scoop in the Greek yogurt and gently fold in the strawberry puree using a spatula. Mix carefully until fully blended, creating a beautifully swirled berry yogurt mixture for about 2–3 minutes.
  3. Take a resealable plastic bag or a piping bag and pour the strawberry yogurt mixture into it. Seal tightly and snip a small corner off to create a piping tip.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pipe small dollops of the strawberry yogurt mixture onto the sheet, keeping them about 1 inch apart. This step should take around 5 minutes.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the freezer and allow the strawberry yogurt bites to freeze for about 1 hour or until they are firm to the touch.
  6. If you’d like, sprinkle on any optional toppings like chopped pistachios or shredded coconut before placing them back in the freezer.
  7. Once fully frozen, remove the yogurt bites from the sheet and transfer them to an airtight container for storage.
