Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean and trim the Brussels sprouts, then cut them in half.
  3. In an ovenproof skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add 3 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in ½ cup of heavy cream, ½ teaspoon of kosher salt, ¼ teaspoon of black pepper, ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder, and ⅛ teaspoon of nutmeg. Add half of the shredded cheese mixture and stir.
  5. Add the prepared Brussels sprouts to the skillet and stir to coat in the creamy sauce. Spread the mixture evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top of the Brussels sprouts.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 18-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
