- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean and trim the Brussels sprouts, then cut them in half.
- In an ovenproof skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add 3 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Remove the skillet from heat and stir in ½ cup of heavy cream, ½ teaspoon of kosher salt, ¼ teaspoon of black pepper, ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder, and ⅛ teaspoon of nutmeg. Add half of the shredded cheese mixture and stir.
- Add the prepared Brussels sprouts to the skillet and stir to coat in the creamy sauce. Spread the mixture evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top of the Brussels sprouts.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 18-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
