Preparation
- Wash the bell peppers and onion thoroughly. Slice the bell peppers into strips and cut the onion into wedges.
- Place the cut vegetables in a large mixing bowl, ready for seasoning.
Seasoning
- Drizzle olive oil over the sliced bell peppers and onions. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss the vegetables gently to coat thoroughly.
Grilling
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (350°F to 400°F).
- Transfer the seasoned vegetables into the grill basket and close the lid.
- Let them cook undisturbed for about 5 minutes.
- Open the grill and toss the vegetables using tongs. Close the lid and grill for another 5 minutes.
- Toss again and let cook for 3 to 5 minutes until the onions are translucent and peppers are charred.
Serving
- Remove the basket from the grill and let it cool slightly. Serve warm.
