Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash the bell peppers and onion thoroughly. Slice the bell peppers into strips and cut the onion into wedges.
  2. Place the cut vegetables in a large mixing bowl, ready for seasoning.
Seasoning
  1. Drizzle olive oil over the sliced bell peppers and onions. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Toss the vegetables gently to coat thoroughly.
Grilling
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (350°F to 400°F).
  2. Transfer the seasoned vegetables into the grill basket and close the lid.
  3. Let them cook undisturbed for about 5 minutes.
  4. Open the grill and toss the vegetables using tongs. Close the lid and grill for another 5 minutes.
  5. Toss again and let cook for 3 to 5 minutes until the onions are translucent and peppers are charred.
Serving
  1. Remove the basket from the grill and let it cool slightly. Serve warm.
