  • 1 large Eggs At room temperature

  • 1 cup Vegetables Zucchini, spinach, or mushrooms

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and lay flat.
  3. Sauté finely chopped onion and minced garlic in olive oil for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Brown the ground beef in the skillet with onion and garlic, then drain excess fat.
  5. Add marinara sauce and Italian seasoning, simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  6. Mix ricotta cheese, one egg, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a separate bowl.
  7. In a baking dish, layer meat sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella. Repeat 2 more times.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  9. Allow the lasagna to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
