Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix and water. Mix until smooth and pour into a greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.
  2. Once the cake has cooled, poke holes about 1 inch apart across the surface of the cake using a wooden spoon handle.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the marshmallow creme and a bit of water. Heat for 20-30 seconds, stir until smooth, then pour over the cake.
  4. Warm the hot fudge sauce slightly and spread it over the marshmallow layer. Allow to cool for 10 minutes.
  5. Combine the whipped topping with the hot chocolate mix until smooth. Spread over the cooled cake.
  6. Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Before serving, top with mini marshmallows and mini chocolate chips.
