Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix and water. Mix until smooth and pour into a greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.
- Once the cake has cooled, poke holes about 1 inch apart across the surface of the cake using a wooden spoon handle.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the marshmallow creme and a bit of water. Heat for 20-30 seconds, stir until smooth, then pour over the cake.
- Warm the hot fudge sauce slightly and spread it over the marshmallow layer. Allow to cool for 10 minutes.
- Combine the whipped topping with the hot chocolate mix until smooth. Spread over the cooled cake.
- Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Before serving, top with mini marshmallows and mini chocolate chips.

Notes
Allow the cake to cool completely before poking holes. Use high-quality ingredients for the richest flavor.
