- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13 inch pan with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well, then add vanilla extract.
- Fold in flour, oats, baking soda, and salt until no dry patches remain.
- Fold in most chocolate chips, then transfer batter to prepared pan and top with reserved chips.
- Bake for 22–26 minutes until golden around edges.
- Cool the bars in the pan for 2 hours, then refrigerate for 30 minutes before cutting.
