Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine softened unsalted butter, white miso paste, brown sugar, freshly grated ginger, minced garlic, and thinly sliced green onions. Mix thoroughly until smooth and well blended.
  2. Place the salmon fillets on a clean cutting board. Spread a generous layer of the miso butter over the top of each fillet. Let the salmon rest for about 10 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the salmon fillets in a baking dish lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily. Optionally, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  4. For air fryer option, preheat to 400°F (200°C) and line the basket with parchment paper. Cook the salmon fillets for 9-10 minutes without flipping.
  5. Once cooked, drizzle remaining miso butter over the salmon. Garnish with additional green onions and sesame seeds.
