  • 1 cup Chilled Coconut Cream Ensure it’s very cold for the best results.
  • 2 tablespoons Matcha Powder Sift to avoid clumping.
  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup Optional sweetener.
For the Sandos
  • 6 oz Fresh Strawberries Bright and firm.
  • 2 slices White Bread Japanese milk bread recommended.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a chilled mixing bowl, combine the very cold coconut cream and sifted matcha powder. Use a hand mixer on medium speed to whip for about 2-3 minutes until stiff peaks form.
  2. Take two slices of soft white bread and lay them flat. Spread a thick layer of matcha cream on one slice and layer freshly sliced strawberries on top.
  3. Place the second slice of bread on top and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for about 15-30 minutes to chill.
  4. Once chilled, unwrap and slice diagonally into triangles or strips to serve.
