  3. Incorporate 1 pound of lean ground beef into the sautéed onions, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef is browned and fully cooked.
  4. Stir in 2 tablespoons of tomato paste, cooking for 2-3 minutes until it deepens in color and mixes well with the meat.
  5. Mix in 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder (if using), 1 teaspoon of seasoned salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
