  • 1 medium Onion diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Taco Seasoning or to taste
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce/Salsa for moisture
For the Shells
  • 12 count Taco Shells hard corn
For the Cheese
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheese cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Mexican blend
For the Toppings
  • 1 cup Fresh Toppings lettuce, tomatoes, onions

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Arrange the hard corn taco shells upright in your baking dish.
  3. Cook the ground beef and diced onion in a skillet over medium heat for about 5–7 minutes until the beef is browned.
  4. Add minced garlic and taco seasoning, cooking for another 1–2 minutes. Then add tomato sauce or salsa and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Fill each taco shell with the beef mixture.
  6. Top filled taco shells with shredded cheese.
  7. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and shells are slightly golden.
  8. Remove from oven and add fresh toppings. Serve warm.
