  • 1 medium Onion yellow or white, diced
  • 1 medium Bell Pepper any color, diced
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack Cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Swiss Cheese shredded
  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese whipped for easier mixing
For the Wonton Cups
  • 12 pieces Wonton Wrappers or phyllo dough
  • to taste Salt for seasoning
  • to taste Pepper for seasoning

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté diced onion and bell pepper for 5-7 minutes until soft.
  2. Add shaved beef to the skillet, increase heat to medium-high, and cook for 4-5 minutes until browned.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the beef and vegetable mixture with cream cheese and both cheeses.
  4. Preheat oven to 325°F. Line a mini muffin tin with wonton wrappers and bake for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven, fill each wonton cup with beef mixture, and return to oven.
  6. Bake filled cups at 375°F for 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbling.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving on a platter with dipping sauces.
