Step‑by‑Step Instructions

  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, paprika, and oregano; mix gently.
  4. Fold in sautéed vegetables into the meat mixture until evenly distributed.
  5. Stir in shredded provolone cheese until just combined, reserving some for topping if desired.
  6. Transfer mixture into the prepared loaf pan, pressing firmly and smoothing the top.
  7. Spread marinara or tomato sauce over the meatloaf and top with extra slices of provolone cheese.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
