Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat a generous tablespoon of cooking oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat for about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add the thinly sliced onion, minced garlic, and julienned ginger to the hot oil. Stir-fry for approximately 1 minute until aromatic.
  3. Sprinkle in salt, ground pepper, and red chili flakes, then pour in the soy sauce, vinegar, and sugar. Cook for about 30 seconds.
  4. Add the sliced zucchini to the wok and stir-fry for 2 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Drizzle about a teaspoon of toasted sesame oil over the stir fry and toss for an additional 20 seconds.
  6. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and chopped scallions. Serve hot over rice.
