Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 diced onion and sauté for about 3 minutes.
  2. Add 2 minced garlic cloves to the skillet and sauté for another minute, until fragrant.
  3. Introduce 1 pound of ground beef to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes, breaking it up.
  4. Stir in 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon of yellow mustard, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 2 tablespoons of pickle juice, and ½ cup of beef broth. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Lower the heat and let the mixture simmer for about 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place brioche buns on a baking sheet and toast them for about 5 minutes.
  7. Assemble the sandwiches with a generous portion of meat mixture, a slice of cheese, diced pickles, and mustard.
