Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather and prepare all your ingredients.
  2. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned (7–10 minutes). Drain excess fat.
  3. Mix in the black beans, corn, and cream of mushroom soup. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Combine shredded cheddar and mozzarella in a bowl, reserving half for later.
  5. Spread the beef mixture in a 9x13 inch baking dish, then sprinkle with cheese mix.
  6. Arrange the tater tots evenly on top of the cheese.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes until tots are golden brown.
  8. Sprinkle reserved cheese mix over the top and bake for an additional 5 minutes until melted.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired and serve warm.
