- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather and prepare all your ingredients.
- Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned (7–10 minutes). Drain excess fat.
- Mix in the black beans, corn, and cream of mushroom soup. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Combine shredded cheddar and mozzarella in a bowl, reserving half for later.
- Spread the beef mixture in a 9x13 inch baking dish, then sprinkle with cheese mix.
- Arrange the tater tots evenly on top of the cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes until tots are golden brown.
- Sprinkle reserved cheese mix over the top and bake for an additional 5 minutes until melted.
- Garnish with chopped green onions if desired and serve warm.
