  • 4 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 1 juice Lemon Fresh lemon juice recommended.

  • 1.5 pounds Chicken Thighs/Strips Substitution: Chicken breasts can be used.
For the Garlic Sauce
  • 0.5 cup Mayonnaise
  • 4 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
For Serving
  • 1 cup Pickled Turnips
  • 1 cup Fresh Vegetables Think cucumbers or tomatoes.
  • 4 pieces Pita Bread

Step‑By‑Step Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, cumin, paprika, turmeric, coriander, cinnamon, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  2. Add chicken thighs or strips to the marinade, ensuring they are thoroughly coated. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat grill or non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add olive oil if using a pan.
  4. Place marinated chicken on the grill or in the hot pan. Cook for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove chicken from heat, let it rest for a few minutes, then slice into bite-sized pieces.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt to make the garlic sauce.
  7. Assemble the chicken in pita bread, drizzle with garlic sauce, and add pickled turnips and fresh vegetables.
