  4. Combine uncooked rice with baked onions and garlic in the dish, ensuring everything is mixed well.
  5. Place seasoned chicken thighs on top and pour hot chicken broth and water around them.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove foil, spray chicken with oil, and bake for an additional 20 minutes or until golden-brown.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes, fluff rice with a fork, garnish if desired, and serve.
