- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Trim the ends of fresh green beans and blanch them in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, then pat dry. Drain and rinse canned beans.
- Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Crumble and reserve some grease.
- In the same skillet, add melted butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic powder. Stir over low heat until smooth and bubbly, about 3-4 minutes.
- Layer green beans in the baking dish, drizzle the glaze over them, and top with crumbled bacon.
- Bake uncovered for 30-40 minutes until edges bubble and bacon is crispy. Monitor in the last few minutes.
