  • 12 rolls King's Hawaiian Savory Butter Rolls
  • 1 pound Deli Roast Beef
  • 8 slices Provolone or Swiss Cheese Can substitute with other cheeses
  • 2 cups Caramelized Onions Can be made ahead
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter For brushing
For the Sauce
  • 2 cups Beef Broth or Stock Homemade or store-bought
  • 2 tablespoons Cream-style Horseradish Can substitute with Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon All Purpose Flour Optional for thickening
Seasonings & Garnishes
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly-ground Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley For garnish
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Thyme Can substitute with dried thyme

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and slice the rolls in half horizontally. Broil cut side up for 1-2 minutes until lightly toasted.
  2. In a greased baking dish, place bottom halves of the rolls, spread horseradish, layer cheese, add roast beef, onions, and top with more cheese before placing the roll tops back.
  3. Melt butter and mix in Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and parsley. Brush this mixture over the sliders.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5-8 minutes until tops are crispy.
  5. While baking, prepare the jus: sauté garlic in butter, stir in flour, add broth, Worcestershire, thyme, salt, and pepper, simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Let sliders rest for a few minutes after baking, cut into portions, garnish with parsley, and serve warm with jus.
