Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs
  • 1 pound Ground Beef or ground turkey/chicken for leaner option
  • 1 pound Ground Pork or more ground beef/turkey for healthier version
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs use almond flour for keto/gluten-free
  • 1 large Egg or flax egg for vegan
  • 1/4 cup Milk or plant-based milk for dairy-free
  • 4 cloves Minced Garlic fresh is preferred
  • 1/2 cup Grated Onion or onion powder if needed
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce or tamari for gluten-free
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Parsley can omit or substitute
For the Glaze
  • 1/2 cup Honey or agave syrup for vegan
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup low-sugar options available
  • 2 tablespoons Vinegar use rice vinegar for Asian twist
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chili Flakes optional
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch omit for a thinner glaze

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all meatball ingredients. Mix gently to combine.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. While baking, prepare the glaze by mixing glaze ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.
  6. If a thicker glaze is preferred, whisk in cornstarch and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Once baked, coat the meatballs in the glaze and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  8. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chopped parsley.
