Step-by-Step Instructions for Kafta Kebabs
- In a food processor, add the quartered medium yellow onion and fresh parsley. Pulse until finely chopped.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the lean ground beef with the chopped onion and parsley mixture. Add in salt, black pepper, seven spice blend, and cayenne pepper. Mix well until evenly distributed.
- With damp hands, take portions of the meat mixture and mold them around skewers, forming kebabs about 1-1.5 inches thick.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F. Lightly oil the grill grates.
- Place skewers on the grill and cook for about 4 minutes on each side until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
- Remove the kebabs from the skewers and serve immediately with warm pita bread or dips.
