Preparation Steps
  1. Tear day-old croissants into bite-sized chunks and place in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook ground sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat and let cool.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until combined.
  4. Sprinkle cooked sausage and shredded cheddar over croissants, then pour egg mixture over the top, pressing down if needed.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap or foil and refrigerate overnight or for at least 8 hours.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Remove cover and bake for 40–45 minutes until golden brown and set.
  7. Let cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with parsley if desired.
