Preparation Steps
- Tear day-old croissants into bite-sized chunks and place in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Cook ground sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat and let cool.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until combined.
- Sprinkle cooked sausage and shredded cheddar over croissants, then pour egg mixture over the top, pressing down if needed.
- Cover with plastic wrap or foil and refrigerate overnight or for at least 8 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Remove cover and bake for 40–45 minutes until golden brown and set.
- Let cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with parsley if desired.
