For the Salmon
  • 4 fillets Wild-Caught Salmon Thawed if frozen
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil Avocado oil as alternative
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt Kosher or sea salt preferred
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly Cracked Black Pepper White pepper as alternative
For the Lemon Butter Sauce
  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter Room temperature, may use ghee
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Herbs (Parsley or Dill) Mix of both works great
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced, may use garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Zest Lime zest as substitute
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice Fresh is best for flavor
  • to taste Additional Salt

Method
 

Prepare the Lemon Butter
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened unsalted butter, minced garlic, fresh herbs, lemon zest, fresh lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Mix thoroughly until creamy.
Prepare Salmon
  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry. Drizzle extra virgin olive oil over them and season with sea salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
Preheat Grill
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F/204°C) and oil the grates to prevent sticking.
Grill Salmon
  1. Place the salmon fillets skin-side up on the grill. Cook for 8 minutes, then flip and grill for an additional 4-6 minutes until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
Serve
  1. Transfer the grilled salmon to serving plates and spoon the lemon butter sauce over each fillet.
