Ingredients
  

For the Kabobs
  • 12 oz Smoked Sausage Rope kielbasa or andouille work best for authentic taste
  • 12 oz Jumbo Shrimp tail-on, peeled and deveined
  • 1 medium Bell Pepper cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 medium Red Onion cut into 1-inch pieces
For Seasoning
  • 2 tsp Olive Oil vegetable oil can be used as a substitute
  • 2 Tbsp Barbecue Seasoning homemade or store-bought mixes for convenience
Assembly
  • Wooden or Metal Skewers soak wooden skewers in water beforehand to prevent burning

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
  2. Slice the smoked sausage into ½-inch to ¾-inch rounds for even cooking.
Assembly
  1. Thread sausage rounds, jumbo shrimp, and colorful vegetable pieces onto the soaked skewers, alternating each ingredient.
  2. Brush the assembled kabobs with a mixture of olive oil and barbecue seasoning.
Grilling
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, about 400°F (204°C).
  2. Place seasoned kabobs on the grill and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally until shrimp is pink and opaque.
