  • 1 teaspoon Salt Essential for beef flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper Adds flavor kick.
For the Quesadilla
  • 4 pieces Flour Tortillas Whole wheat or low-carb alternatives work.
  • 8 slices American Cheese Can substitute cheddar or pepper jack.
  • 1 tablespoon Butter For frying.
For the Toppings
  • 1 cup Diced Pickles
  • 1 cup Diced White Onion
  • 1 cup Shredded Lettuce
  • 1 cup Diced Tomatoes
For the Special Sauce
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise Base of the special sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons Ketchup Adds sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon Pickle Relish
  • ¼ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Onion Powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Combine mayonnaise, ketchup, pickle relish, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl to make the special sauce.
  2. Divide ground beef into 8 equal balls and season with salt and black pepper.
  3. Heat a skillet, add butter, and cook the tortillas with the smashed beef until golden.
  4. Sprinkle cheese on beef, add another tortilla on top, and cook until melted.
  5. Layer toppings and sauce inside quesadilla, fold, slice, and serve warm.
