For the Gochujang Glaze
  • 2 tbsp Gochujang main flavor component
  • 2 tbsp Honey balances heat
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce or Coconut Aminos adds umami
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil for nutty richness
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Water or Rice Vinegar to adjust glaze consistency
For Garnishing
  • 1 tsp Toasted Sesame Seeds for texture and flavor
  • 2 Green Onions thinly sliced

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and toss with cornstarch, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  2. Whisk together gochujang, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and water or vinegar to make glaze.
  3. Heat the neutral oil in a skillet and cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes on one side until golden, then flip and cook until pink.
  4. Pour the glaze over shrimp, toss to coat, and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  5. Transfer to a platter, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve.
