  • 1 link Breakfast Sausage Imparts rich taste; substitute with ground turkey or plant-based sausage for a lighter version.
  • 4 large Eggs Essential for protein and creaminess; egg whites can be used for a lighter alternative.
  • 1/4 cup Half and Half Adds creaminess to scrambled eggs; substitute with milk for a lighter option.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese (Triple Cheddar recommended) Offers richness and melting texture; use any cheese like Monterey Jack or pepper jack for a different flavor.

For the Wrap
  • 4 large Tortillas Encases the burrito; use whole wheat or spinach tortillas for extra nutrients.

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions for Monster Burrito
  1. Preheat your griddle to 350-375°F. Add half of the cooking oil and spread the Simply Potatoes hashbrowns in a single layer. Sprinkle with Essential Blend seasoning and cook for about 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Add the thick cut bacon and breakfast sausage to the griddle. Cook the bacon until crispy and the sausage until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes total. Remove and set aside on a paper towel.
  3. Add butter to the griddle. Whisk the eggs and half and half until smooth. Pour onto the griddle and scramble for about 3-4 minutes. Sprinkle cheese on top until melted, then remove.
  4. Warm the tortillas on the griddle for about 30 seconds per side to make them pliable.
  5. Lay each tortilla flat and layer with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and hashbrowns. Top with additional cheese and wrap tightly from the bottom up.
  6. Place the wrapped burrito seam-side down on the griddle and toast on all sides for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  7. Remove the burrito from the griddle and slice in half if desired. Serve hot, optionally drizzled with hot sauce.
